105-mm Type 4140 towed field howitzer

description
The Type 4140 105-mm howitzer is towed on a two-wheel carriage by a 6 x 6 truck. In the firing position, the gun rests on a plate and is supported by four trails that are secured in the ground by pickets. The carriage wheels are raised off the ground and placed in front of the gun shield.
The Type 4140 fires a high-explosive (HE) projectile.
