155-mm Type 99 self-propelled howitzer

The 155-mm Type 99 self-propelled howitzer was developed as a replacement for the earlier Type 75 self-propelled gun. It was developed by the Japanese Defense Agency Technical Research Division and built by Japan Steel Works and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
