155-mm Crusader self-propelled artillery system

The Crusader 155-mm self-propelled howitzer system consisted of the XM-2001 155-mm self-propelled howitzer (SPH), the XM-2002 armored resupply vehicle (RSV) and the XM-2003 resupply module (RSM). The system was designed as a replacement for the 155-mm M109A6 Paladin. However, the program was cancelled in May 2002 (see "Status," below).

Designed for enhanced survivability, mobility and lethality on the battlefield, the Crusader would have been easier to deploy than the Paladin....
