The British Mk 19 4-in (102-mm) dual-purpose twin-gun mount was the last in a series of twin and single 4-in gun mounts first introduced to British warships in the 1930s. The Mk 19 was hand-loaded but electrically elevated and traversed. In local control, mount movement was controlled by joystick; remote control was through a lead-computing sight or fire-control radar.
