The Type 67 82-mm mortar consists of three components: tube, bipod and base plate. The tube is similar to the earlier Type 53 82-mm mortar, but the Type 67 has a simpler bipod and a triangular shaped base plate.
The Type 67 fires high-explosive (HE), smoke and illuminating (ILLUM) ammunition.
