The WOTAN is a medium-caliber cannon developed by Rheinmetall for installation on infantry fighting vehicles and naval platforms. The baseline WOTAN30 variant fires a 30 x 173 mm shell; the WOTAN35 variant fires 35 x 228 mm ammunition.
The cannon is electrically driven, with a rate of fire of 200 rounds/min. It can fire airburst munitions and has a range of 3,280 yd (3,000 m).
