KBA-105 Shkval fighting module

The KBA-105 Shkval is a remotely operated weapon station developed for armored fighting vehicles and light naval vessels.

It is mounted on the roof of a vehicle and controlled by a gunner who may be located anywhere inside. The turret is marketed as part of the BTR-3U armored personnel carrier.

The system has powered traverse through 360 degrees and can depress the weapon to -5 degrees or raise it to 45 degrees above the horizontal.
