The 90-mm Mecar KEnerga Mk VIII gun system can be mounted in any armored fighting vehicle weighing 15,400 lb (7,000 kg) or more.

Developed from the earlier 90/28 gun, the 90/46 is designed to provide both anti-tank and general-purpose artillery capability in light combat vehicles. The gun features a relatively low recoil force, high angle of elevation and simplicity of operation.
