The 30-mm XM813 cannon is an upgraded derivative of the Mk 44 Bushmaster II cannon. It was originally developed for the U.S. Army's Future Combat System program, which was canceled in 2009. It is expected to be fitted to the Stryker wheeled armored personnel carrier under the Stryker Lethality Program.
