The Giat 25-mm M811 vehicle gun is an externally powered (electric or hydraulic drive) single- or dual-feed weapon designed to be the main armament on light armored vehicles.

Heavier than most 25-mm aircraft or vehicle guns, the M811 fires standard 25 x 137 ammunition at selectable rates of 150, 400 or 650 rounds/min, a rate of fire slower than most other 25-mm guns. The gunner can select single-shot, burst or unlimited firing modes.
