The five-barrel 25-mm GAU-12/U Gatling gun is the principal gun armament of the AV-8B Harrier II fighter jet. It is fitted to the Harrier in a pod carried on the central fuselage weapon station. Variants are also used on the AC-130U gunship and on the Blazer 25 air defense turret.
