The Donar is an air-deployable, autonomous, remotely operated 155-mm artillery system. It integrates the Autonomous Gun Module from Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) with a modified General Dynamics European Land Systems' (GDELS) ASCOD 2 chassis. A private development of the two companies, it is aimed at the need for precision indirect fire capabilities.
