The Bavar-2 is an Iranian wing-in-ground-effect vehicle developed for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The vehicle is designed to conduct patrol and reconnaissance missions over the water at low altitude below radar coverage. In a conflict they would likely be used for forward reconnaissance to acquire targeting data on enemy vessels in support of land-based and sea-launched missiles.
