The UTVA-66 was a light utility and air evacuation aircraft.
The wing and tail group of the UTVA-66 were reminiscent of the U.S. Cessna high-wing, single-engine private aircraft series. The wing, which provided a roof for the cockpit, had a rectangular center section and tapered outer panels; it was braced with single struts near the leading edges.
