The MU-2 is a Japanese multi-role aircraft exported extensively for civil aviation, but also flown in several military roles. In military service, it is used for liaison, reconnaissance, search and rescue (SAR), calibration, and utility purposes.
The compact MU-2 has a high wing, its wing carry-through center-section being mounted on top of the fuselage and streamlined by a humped fairing.
The leading edge has a slight taper; the trailing edge has greater taper from tip to root....
