The Yak-11 Moose is a basic flight trainer in widespread service with several countries. It resembles the U.S.-built AT-6 Texan in concept, being about the same size and having a similar takeoff weight.
The Moose has a more powerful engine and hence higher performance than the AT-6; it was derived from the Yak series of World War II fighters.
