The T-45 Goshawk is a U.S. Navy carrier-capable jet pilot trainer designed from the British multirole Hawk 60 trainer and light attack aircraft.
Similar to the Hawk, the Goshawk has an aluminum-alloy wing. The wings have a 21.5-degree sweepback and a 25 percent chord. The Goshawk also has additional leading-edge slats for lower approach speeds.
