The MB-339 trainer/light attack aircraft is a derivative of the MB-326 (see separate database entry). The aircraft closely resembles the MB-326, differing mainly in a slightly stretched fuselage, a stepped cockpit and a smaller, reshaped nose cone.
The low wing is nearly straight with only an 11-deg, 18-min leading-edge sweep. Small wing fences are fitted on the leading edge in line with the junction of the single-slotted trailing-edge flaps and the aileron.
