The Hurkus is a turboprop basic trainer under development for the Turkish air force. The aircraft will have tandem seating and be capable of day and night operation. It is designed for basic pilot, instrument flight, navigation, weapons and formation training tasks. The aircraft will be fitted with an all-digital avionics suite, cabin pressurization, 0/0 ejection seats, environmental control system, anti-g forces system and an oxygen system.
