The Hurjet is a jet trainer and light attack aircraft in development for the Turkish military as well as for export.
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) designed the Hurjet with the goal of replacing the Turkish air force's fleet of 70 aging T-38 jet trainers. The aircraft was designed to be a fifth-generation training aircraft.
The jet has a tandem cockpit, conventional swept wing design with a single vertical stabilizer and twin horizontal stabilizers aft.
