HJT-16 Kiran trainer/attack aircraft

The Kiran trainer and light attack aircraft was designed and built in India. It was used for intermediate training after Indian pilots completed basic training on the HPT-32 Deepak. The Deepak has since been replaced by the PC-7 Mk II.
