The Black Kite (Sorigae in Korean) is a 100-percent electric basic trainer aircraft being developed by Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI).
The low-emission aircraft is expected to measure 38 ft (11.6 m) long, 15 ft 4 in high (4.7 m), with a wingspan of 36 ft 7 in (11.2 m).
The aircraft is powered by four propellers, each with four blades, on top of the low-mounted wings. Power is supplied by dozens of battery packs in the nose, wings and fuselage. There are two tandem seats.
