Top Cover was an air-launched, forward-swept-wing designed vehicle that was intended to operate as a cruise missile, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or disposable surveillance UAV.

The system was expected to have an endurance of more than 24 hours and to be capable of flying at altitudes of around 5,000 ft (1,500 m).
