The X-50A CRW (canard rotor/wing) Dragonfly was a next-generation developmental high-speed, vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft.

Both of the Dragonfly demonstrator vehicles were unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). There was a potential for the development of manned and unmanned versions.

Missions for such vehicles could have included reconnaissance, armed escort, tactical air support, communications/data relay and logistics resupply.
