Shadow 400 multi-platform UAV

The Shadow 400 was developed by using the lessons learned from the RQ-7A Shadow 200 and the Shadow 600 (see separate records). The Shadow 400 is intended for use from multiple launch and recovery platforms, including ships at sea.

Essentially a Shadow 600 that has been scaled down and optimized for naval use, the Shadow 400 shares the ability to integrate different sensor packages into the airframe, including the 17 different payloads that can be used on the Shadow 600.
