RQ-4 Global Hawk

The RQ-4A Global Hawk is a high-altitude, long-endurance battlefield reconnaissance platform designed to give joint-service commanders imagery in near-real time. It is capable of flying autonomously to altitudes of up to 67,300 ft (20,500 m) for as long as 24.7 hours. The system is designed to be fully automatic and to cover as much as 3,500 sq mi (9,072 km sq) an hour at resolutions between 1-3 ft (0.3-1 m).
