RQ-170 Sentinel

The RQ-170 Sentinel is a high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in service with the U.S. Air Force. It was first seen flying out of Afghanistan in late 2007. The air vehicle was designed to provide reconnaissance and surveillance support to forward-deployed combat forces. Much of the information about the UAV remains classified.
