The Bourdon was an oval-winged mini-unmanned aerial vehicle (MUAV) designed for close-range missions.
With a near circular design, the Bourdon was one of the world's smallest unmanned combat air vehicles. It could be armed with a Verny Carron F101 Flash Ball gun in a miniature steerable turret.
The gun, weighing only 2.4 pounds (1.1 kg), could fire hardened rubber balls, tear gas and dye-ball markers. The camera could transmit images over a distance of 4.3 miles (7 km). A daytime...
