The Bat Hawk is a very light surveillance aircraft based on the B22 Bantam microlight aircraft developed by Micro Aviation in New Zealand. It is in service with several African wildlife agencies.
The aircraft has a strut-braced high wing; two seats in a side-by-side configuration in an enclosed cockpit; fixed tricycle landing gear; and a single engine in a tractor configuration above and ahead of the crew. The nosewheel is steerable.
