The Z-20 is a Chinese medium-lift helicopter in the 7- to 10-ton class. The helicopter has been nicknamed the "Copy Hawk" due to the significant visual similarities to the American UH-60 Black Hawk. This is due in part because its development was based off of 24 S-70C-2s acquired by China in 1985. The design is also believed to have been influenced by the examination of the crashed stealth Black Hawk by Chinese engineers following the 2011 raid to kill Osama bin Laden.
