UH-1 Iroquois

The UH-1 Iroquois, or Huey (taken from its original designation, HU-1A) as it is popularly known, is a general-purpose, multi-role helicopter that has been produced in greater numbers and flown by more countries than any other helicopter in the West. The Huey has been adapted for a wide variety of roles, ranging from air assault and gunship to medical evacuation, from search-and-rescue (SAR) to anti-submarine warfare (ASW) missions.
