The Tu-124 Cookpot was a medium-range civil airliner that has been used in military service only as a VIP transport.
The Cookpot had an unusual configuration for an airliner, featuring a glazed nose with chin navigational radar radome, and a swept, low-set wing with the engines in nacelles faired into the wing roots and pods faired into the wing trailing edge for the landing gear main wheels. The fuselage and tail group were conventional.
