The Gulfstream Aerospace C-37A is a slightly militarized version of the Gulfstream V (redubbed Gulfstream G500) long-range executive aircraft.
The aircraft was originally procured as part of the modernization of the 89th Airlift Wing's special air missions (SAM) fleet; other Air Force elements have procured C-37s, as have the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. The Gulfstream G500 is also in service in several other countries in executive transport and medical transport roles.
