Country of Origin: Japan

The C-1 is a Japanese medium transport that is almost alone among military transports with its high-wing, twin-jet-engine configuration. It was designed to replace the World War II-era Curtiss C-46s which the Japan Self-Defense Forces operated since the 1950s.
