The B-21 Raider is being developed by Northrop Grumman as a sixth-generation, digital, stealth bomber for the U.S. Air Force. It is intended to replace the aging B-2 Spirit and B-1B Lancer bombers. The program is highly classified, with little information made public to date.
The design features advanced networking capabilities and an open systems architecture. It can deliver both nuclear and conventional payloads and can be flown by an onboard crew or piloted remotely.
