Turkey has begun work on a military training base in Somalia, reports the Shabelle Media Network (Mogadishu).
A facility is being set up in Mogadishu to train Somali soldiers, according to Emel Tekin, the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry department responsible for Somalia, as reported by Today's Zaman (Istanbul)
The project is part of a framework agreement between the two countries.
