Leidos Receives U.S. Army Contract to Provide ARTEMIS

On Sept. 22, 2026, Leidos announced it received a U.S. Army contract worth up to US$127 million to continue operating the Airborne Reconnaissance and Targeting Exploitation Multi-Mission Intelligence System (ARTEMIS) through 2027, with two additional option years available.

ARTEMIS is an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) system built around a modified Bombardier Challenger 650 aircraft that helps operators detect threats based in the European Command area. The platform can operate at high altitudes and deploy rapidly to support missions across different regions.
