L3Harris Receives U.S. Air Force Contract for Advanced Proximity Sensors

On Sept. 14, 2026, L3Harris Technologies announced a US$60 million U.S. Air Force contract for the production of its DSU-43/B Cockpit Selectable Height of Burst Sensors (C-HOBS).

The radar-assisted C-HOBS system allows aircrews to adjust detonation altitudes based on specific mission requirements, delivering precision and operational flexibility.
