Al-Qaida in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS). Also known as Qaidat al-Jihad in the Indian Subcontinent, Jama'at Qaidat al-Jihad fi Shibh al-Qarrah al-Hindiyah, or Organization of the Base of Jihad in the Indian Subcontinent.
The group is active in India, Pakistan, Burma, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
