Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula

Tanzim al-Qaeda fi Jazirat al-Arab, or the Al-Qaida Organization in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). The U.S. State Dept. has designated Ansar al-Sharia in Yemen as an alias.

AQAP operates in the Arabian Peninsula, originally concentrating in Saudi Arabia and later Yemen.
