National Liberation Forces (FNL), formerly Palipehutu-FNL
Burundi, especially the provinces of Bujumbura, Bubanza and Kirundo. FNL activity has also been reported in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, particularly under the leadership of Aloys Nzabampema, whose faction is active in South Kivu province.
The FNL is a Hutu nationalist organization that aims to recover political and military authority in Burundi.
