Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG)

Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), Fighting Islamic Group, Libyan Fighting Group, Libyan Islamic Group, Al-Jama'a al-Islamiyyah al-Muqatilah bi-Libya. During the 2011 uprising against the Qaddafi regime, the group changed its name to Libyan Islamic Movement for Chance (al-Harakat al-Islamiya al-Libiya li at-Taghyeer) and distanced itself from its previous violence. The group is largely defunct; most of  its members have joined other groups.
