Operational deployment of strike and amphibious craft are the responsibility of Fleet Command; COSCOM is responsible for all naval operations in the Singapore Straits during peacetime. COSCOM works closely with the Police Coast Guard in anti-piracy missions and protection of key offshore oil and power installations.
