OVERVIEW
The Polish air force (Sily Powietrzne) is responsible for air combat, army support and ground-based air defense. Air force pilots fly 160 to 200 hours per year.
Restructuring efforts have called for air defense assets to be divided into two air defense sectors: North and South.
