Given the limited mission profile of Costa Rica's paramilitary Public Forces, their procurement requirements are modest in scope. Year-on-year the country pursues only a handful of small-scale acquisitions, primarily sourced from U.S. donations, in order to reinforce and supplement its existing surveillance and interdiction capability.
