OVERVIEW
The Republic of China Army (RoCA) conducts ground combat missions as well as air support and airborne special operations. The main role of the army is to defend against a possible amphibious assault by the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
The army is organized into army- and corps-level units and a special operations headquarters, with the following units:
